Drawing from their life-time journey on the path of yoga, Surya and Rebecca share their unique but complementary perspectives on how to deepen a practice by using the safe, intelligent guidance of Iyengar Yoga. We think that yoga is the ideal practice to support women’s health–for digestion, hormonal balance, physical energy, and mental well-being.
Over these four days you will receive much individual instruction. Each practice is tailored to meet you right where you are– relative to your age, biorhythms, and overall health. Daily practices include restorative yoga, asana, pranayama, philosophy, and time for reflection. This retreat will give you a clear outline of a personal practice that you will take home with you to practice for decades to come.
Rebecca Hooper is a Level 2 Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and a Yoga Therapist in the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She also practices seated meditation in the Sanbo Zen lineage. Originally from London, England, Rebecca holds a BA Honors degree in Fine Art.
