The chakras evoke mystery, an artistic imagination, and connection to the subtle body. For each of us, the chakras are unique centers for physical and psychic energies. Part archetype, part mythos, and part psycho-somatic, the chakras are doorways to the hidden potency of a personal and collective imagination. Each chakra is a rich complex of color, geometrical design, vibration, and presiding totem animal.
In this specialized course you will embody the archetypal potency of each chakra, relevant to your own personal history. Through asana, sound resonance, visualization, and meditation we activate each of the vital energy centers throughout the body, beginning with the tailbone and leading to the crown of the head. Anatomically we will map the muscular-skeletal, organ, nerve bundle and endocrine gland associated with each chakra. Tias includes a rich array of images from the yogic tradition that relate to the archetypal power behind each chakra. Each day includes an experiential dive into the chakras to bring clarity, energy and insight. Each day includes practice of mantra, meditation, postural yoga and deep energetic healing of your subtle body.
