In this class, we do movements to mobilize the arms in order to free up restrictions in the shoulders with a focus on mobility and strengthen in weight bearing asanas. With the support of a strap, explore arm positions and then implement these principles in Parsvottanasana, Prasarita Padottanasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana, Vasisthasana, Upper Dandasana, and Salabhasana. Finish with bridge pose and deep rest.
- Have your props handy! We recommend two blocks, blankets, a thick bolster, an 8’ or 10’ belt/strap, and a backless chair (modifications will be given if you do not have a chair). We recommend yogaoutlet.com and Manduka for props; backless chairs can be found on Amazon and Etsy.
