As we age, the bones become lighter and less stable. In the spiritual traditions of India and China, the bones and bone marrow contain the deep life force. In this class we practice standing and supine poses, in order to make the bones and their surrounding tissues resilient and supple. By engaging the bone energy, we tap the body’s deepest essence. In this class we address how yoga works as an antidote to osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
