In yoga, the central channel within the spine is considered sacred. It has many beautiful names such as The Lustrous One, The Ray of Light, The Brahma Nadi, and the Middle Way Channel. In this class we use SATYA and yoga postures to mobilize the spine and its surrounding soft tissues from the tailbone to the crown of the head. Then, in seated meditation, we bring light and space to the spine using pranayama techniques.
