Bloodstream Yoga | Online Workshop
In yoga, circulation in the body is likened to the flow of rivers and streams. All the blood vessels transport bright red, prana infused oxygen. In yoga, these channels are referred to as nadis or “little rivers.” In this immersion, whether in motion or in stillness, we increase circulation through all tissues of the body. When all tributaries within the bloodstream circulate freely, there is optimal health in the body. In this class we increase circulation of the blood by sensing its pulsatory rhythm and directing its flow. This builds meditative awareness. We begin class with an excerpt from the famous “Bloodstream Sermon” given by Bodhidharma, the first Zen patriarch.
Cost: £32 per workshop, or £55 for both workshops
