When doing bandha practices in Hatha Yoga, it is crucial to find the link between your iliopsoas muscle and your sacrum. In this class, we stretch the hip muscles to free the flow of the neural pathway down into the leg. We practice somatic movements on the floor before sitting and standing and load bearing into the hip. In all movements, we aim to tap into the vital reservoir of blood and chi in the lower abdomen at the base of the spine.
