At this time of global unrest, we see that life is a balancing act. In the act of balancing, both on and off the mat, we note how balance includes periods of imbalance. In order to balance the body we need a good center of gravity combined with an ability to pull inward while expanding out. This class starts with balancing positions from the floor before making our way to standing and seated balance positions. Balancing poses bring lightness, strength, and poise to the body-mind.
Have your props handy! We recommend a block, blanket, bolster, belt (and chair if you have access to one).
