In yoga the front is considered the East side of the body. When stretching the front side of the body we open to the dawn and the energy of sunrise. In this class we stretch and lengthen the front of the legs, belly and chest to expand the prana for the day.
Have your props handy! We recommend a block, blanket, bolster, belt (and chair if you have access to one).
