Explore How Energetic Anatomy Awakens Somatic and Spiritual Insight

Yoga is more than just movement—it is a deep exploration of the forces that animate and shape our being. In Subtle Body Anatomy, renowned teacher Tias Little guides students through a dynamic and integrative approach to understanding the body as a gateway to awareness, healing, and transformation.

Bridging ancient wisdom with contemporary somatic studies, this course explores the structure of the body as an interconnected field of physical, energetic, and psychospiritual experience. Through embodied practice, meditation, and guided inquiry, Tias illuminates how the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems interweave with the energetic pathways of the nadis, chakras, and koshas.

Each workshop unfolds progressively—from grounding in the feet and legs to the expansive potential of the crown—offering practical techniques to sense, refine, and balance the subtle body. Participants will engage in yoga postures, breathwork (pranayama), and visualization exercises to cultivate greater awareness and integration of their subtle anatomy.

Whether you are a practitioner, teacher, or seeker, this course offers an invaluable opportunity to deepen your understanding of the body-mind connection and to experience yoga as a living, multidimensional practice.

This 8-hour workshop over the course of 2 weekends is a portion of the Embodied Philosophy’s Yoga Teacher Training that is available for one-off purchase. Register now and join us on April 12th and May 10th from 10am – 2pm ET each day.

Module 1 (April 12) | Grounding Awareness – The Lower Body & Subtle Foundations

In this first module, Tias Little guides participants into the foundational structures of the subtle body, focusing on the feet, legs, pelvis, and lower abdomen. We will explore how grounding through the lower body builds the basis for pranic flow, emotional stability, and mental clarity. Through a blend of yoga postures, breathwork, visualization, and anatomical reflection, students will learn how the fascia, bones, and nerves interact with the nadis and lower chakras to create steadiness and embodied presence.

Module 2 (May 10) | Expanding Awareness – The Upper Body & Subtle Integration

Building on the foundational work of Module 1, this second workshop ascends through the spine into the heart, throat, and crown. Here, we explore how subtle anatomy supports insight, intuition, and integration of body-mind-spirit. Tias offers a deep dive into the energetic anatomy of the upper chakras, the cranial-sacral system, and the meditative dimensions of the breath. Practices emphasize opening the central channel (suṣumṇā), refining perception, and attuning to the symbolic and archetypal aspects of the subtle body.

Cost: $147 + tax
