As the winter season sets in and the light in the sky wanes on Winter Solstice, we come together for an immersive practice. Winter is the ideal time for cultivating the deep yin by restoring the tissues, reducing fatigue and replenishing the prana. In meditation we evoke a vast all penetrating light– not only the light over the skies of Northern New Mexico, but the light of the mind-heart space that burns perpetually bright. In this class we illumine the spaces within through breath work, meditative flow, supported holds, and deep stillness. Open to students of all levels of practice.
Join us for this unique Winter Solstice class with Tias and Surya in the beautiful setting of the Prajna Temple. In the midst of an all too busy life, each class is like a mini retreat. Classes are small and students receive individual attention. The three hour time frame allows students to submerse in the teachings in a way that is not possible in shorter studio classes. Immerse with us on the Prajna Temple grounds for an afternoon of deep practice, meditation, and sangha sharing. Take an afternoon to drop into deep practice for your body, mind, and spirit. Each immersion will restore, educate and revitalize.
When: Thursday, December 21 | 2:00 – 5:00pm Mountain Time
