On this Juneteenth, we honor all African American people in this country and around the world on their path toward embodying greater safety, ease and freedom. This day is a call for all beings to uphold a society that is accepting and gracious, free from bias, prejudice and slander. At Prajna Yoga we recognize that all beings are interdependent. In the words of Maya Angelou, “The truth is, no one of us can be free until everybody is free.” In the context of yoga, we know that liberation is not relegated to people of any one color, creed or caste. Please join us on this Juneteenth in support of all Black people and all people of color to be free in body, mind and spirit.
