Laya Yoga, the yoga of dissolution, is a traditional practice to rest the body and restore its essential vitality. In the practice of Yoga Nidra we dissolve tension from both mind and body. When the body enters into stillness, silence, and spaciousness, the “consciousness returns home.” This involves a melting away of mind and body so that one enters a vast and clear awareness that pervades every cell and every molecule of one’s being.

In this series of classes we start Yoga Nidra by dissolving tension from the peripheral limbs and superficial fascia. Then we relax inward toward the core in order to dissolve tension in the nervous system, gut, spine and brain. Ultimately, we experience the unitive state of absorption free from distraction and division. At the end of the calendar year, join us for this Yoga Nidra experience of profound serenity and peace. Each class includes a movement practice prior to the practice of yogic sleep.

**Please note ALL Live Zoom sessions and classes will be recorded should you be unable to attend any live streams. All live session recordings are available to you for 90 days after the last class concludes.

** This immersion is valid for 6 hours of Continuing Education, and can be applied towards the required hours for the Prajna Yoga 300/500-Hour Program.
