Each of us has our own “signature shape” determined by genetics, work, athletic play and emotions. In this class we take time to recognize the patterns we hold in our structure—the rotation of a leg, the twist of the spine, asymmetry in the jaw—in order to honor our “signature shape.” We do standing poses, side bends and twisting poses.
- Have your props handy! We recommend two blocks, blankets, a thick bolster, an 8’ or 10’ belt/strap, and a backless chair (modifications will be given if you do not have a chair). We recommend yogaoutlet.com and Manduka for props; backless chairs can be found on Amazon and Etsy.
