Morning class: From Inside-Out: Practice for the Core
The aim of yoga practice is to build a strong yet pliable interior core. The challenge in yoga is to bring lightness and lift to the core without tightening or causing unnecessary constriction. One of the primary aims of this class is to mindfully build core stability. We do this through balancing poses for the arms and legs. This immersion helps cultivate the deepest vitality in the body while cultivating feelings of levity and grace.
Afternoon class: Restorative Yoga—Nourishing Bone, Blood and Breath
This class guides students in poses that are designed to reduce fatigue and stress buried in the body. By the application of supported postures, the aim of this class is to soothe the nervous system, empty strain and holding in the organic body and calm the mind. This class aims to optimize the flow of prana in the body, rejuvenating all the soft tissues of the body.
From 10am-4pm with a one hour lunch break.
The workshop is open to all practitioners who wish to gain a deeper understanding of yoga.
