In yoga it is thought that the entire universe and the body itself is made up of vibration. All that vibrates produces sound currents and in the body these currents move like rivers through the nerves, organs and glands. In this unique immersion we animate the channels of the body through breath, sound, and movement. Not only the sound OM, but numerous other healing sounds open up the channels of the subtle body.
In this class we devote time to sensitizing the inner ear to the vibration of the breath, heart-beat, arterial pulse, and neurological flow. We explore how vibration and the resonance of sacred sound have specific effects on the body. Much emphasis will be given to sensing vibration in the innermost chamber of the ear and cranium.
This unique event brings together two accomplished teachers, Aadil and Tias, to share their insights into the power and mystery of some of the oldest yoga practices. Using meditation, sounding, yoga posture, and pranayama, Aadil and Tias share their unique but complementary perspectives on how to attune to vibration in the subtle body.
