For all women vitality and health require attention to the cyclical changes that take place all month long. While practicing yoga, it is essential that each of us honor our unique physiology by listening to the inherent changes that take place within. By attending to our natural biorhythms, we tailor yoga practices and our lifestyles specifically for the changes in our phases of the menstrual cycle, levels of energy, sleep patterns and hormonal rhythms.
This four-part series supports women of all ages on the path of practice toward restoration, radiant wellness, and optimal vitality. Each class will include lectures weaving in the lunar cycles, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and western sciencesâ view of the female body, hormones, energetic patterns and organs. Weâll cover diet, herbal medicine and lifestyle to nurture each phase with deeply supportive yoga, pranayama and meditation practices.
