SUMMARY:The Living Spine | June 6-Class Online Series
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER ONLINE\n\n\nThis month we devote our monthly series to the power of the spine. By taking the spine in multiple directions we generate flexibility\, lightness and flow to all 26 bones of the spine. \nLed by Tias & Surya. \n\nWant to register for individual classes? Click here. \n*All classes are held from 10:00 – 11:30am Mountain Time* \n\nSpinal Fluidity\nTuesday\, June 2\n\nIn this class we slide\, lift\, turn and pump the spine in order to bring fluidity to the spinal column. This practice helps bring a sense of  ease and suppleness to the spine whether lying down\, sitting or standing. \n\nSidebends\nFriday\, June 5\nSidebends bring a feeling of lightness and length to the lateral spine. In this class we do side bends on the floor\, sitting and standing to bring vitality to the entire body. \nTwists\nTuesday\, June 9\nTwists help to squeeze\, expand and rebalance the tissues of the spine. In this class we use supine\, seated and standing poses to mobilize the spinal musculature. While twists help lengthen the spine\, they also revitalize the blood and enable the breath to flow deeper. \nFolding Forward\nFriday June 12\n\nForward bends serve to draw the mind inward toward the spirit and to restore the organ of the brain. This class emphasizes release of the back body and spine to reduce fatigue and prepare the mind for meditation. \n\nArching Back *Surya\nTuesday\, June 23\nBack arches bring vitality to the body while helping to build a strong and resilient lower back. In this class we connect deeply into the spine through opening the hip flexors\, chest and lungs. \nInverting the Spine *Surya\nFriday\, June 26\nSuspending and inverting the spine brings length and spaciousness to the spinal joints. Through inversions and partial inversions we release tension through the ligaments and musculature surrounding the spine.\n\nCost: $100 + tax\n\n\nHave your props handy! We recommend two blocks\, blankets\, a thick bolster\, an 8’ or 10’ belt/strap\, and a backless chair (modifications will be given if you do not have a chair). We recommend yogaoutlet.com and Manduka for props; backless chairs can be found on Amazon and Etsy.\nPlease note that all classes are in Mountain Time.\nCan’t join us at 10am MT because of your schedule or time zone? We’ve got you covered! Reserve your seat and all video recordings will be uploaded to your course curriculum to watch when you can\, available to stream for 30 days after the last day of class.

SUMMARY:Balancing the Diaphragms | July 6-Class Online Series
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER ONLINE\n\n\nA Six-Class Exploration of Structure\, Breath\, and the Flow of Prana \nAs we gather online this July\, our six-class series unfolds during our annual time on Cape Cod\, where the rhythms of breath\, tide\, and open sky offer a living reminder of the body’s interconnected diaphragms. Together we will explore six remarkable diaphragms that organize and connect the body from the soles of the feet to the crown of the head. These gateways in the body support our posture\, breathing and circulation while providing a sense of inner balance. In each class we bring flexibility and stability to the diaphragms in order to deepen the flow of prana inside. \n\nWant to register for individual classes? Click here. \n*All classes are held from 9:00 – 10:30am Mountain Time* \n\nFoot Diaphragm\nFriday\, July 3\n\nWe begin from the ground up\, stretching and strengthening the foot diaphragm know as the plantar fascia. By stretching and strengthening the plantar fascia we provide support for the ankles\, knees and hips. \n\nKnee Diaphragm\nFriday\, July 10th\nDiscover how healthy knees require both mobility and support. Through somatic movement and standing postures\, we create resilience\, adaptability\, and ease. \nThe Root of the Body\nTuesday\, July 14th\nAwaken the foundational support of the pelvis and lower abdomen. This practice explores grounding\, containment\, and the subtle lift of mula bandha. \nThe Breath of Life: The Respiratory Diaphragm\nTuesday July 21st\n\nThe respiratory diaphragm is the central diaphragm that pumps prana through the body. In this class we mobilize the lungs by lengthening and strengthening the muscle fibers of the respiratory diaphragm. \n\nThe Roof of the Mouth\nFriday\, July 24th\nIn this class we bring ease and space to the throat chakra by opening the structures around the palate including the jaw\, tongue and neck to free up the path of prana inside. \nThe Tentorium\nTuesday\, July 28th\nThe tentorium is a beautiful diaphragm that cuts right through the cranium\, dividing the lower and upper parts of the brain. In this class we do movements to balance the tent-like sheath inside the skull.\n\nCost: $100 + tax\n\n\nHave your props handy! We recommend two blocks\, blankets\, a thick bolster\, an 8’ or 10’ belt/strap\, and a backless chair (modifications will be given if you do not have a chair). We recommend yogaoutlet.com and Manduka for props; backless chairs can be found on Amazon and Etsy.\nPlease note that all classes are in Mountain Time.\nCan’t join us at 9am MT because of your schedule or time zone? We’ve got you covered! Reserve your seat and all video recordings will be uploaded to your course curriculum to watch when you can\, available to stream for 30 days after the last day of class.

SUMMARY:Fluid Body\, Radiant Core - Prajna Yoga Summer Immersion with Tias & Surya Little
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nOn Cape Cod\, the rhythms of the ocean remind us that the body itself is fluid and tidal. Just as the sea moves through cycles of ebb and flow\, the human body depends on circulation\, hydration and rhythmic movement to sustain vitality. In this summer immersion\, we explore the body as a living current—awakening the deep intelligence of the hips\, belly and inner legs through spiral movement\, breath and somatic awareness. These practices replenish the body’s waters\, kindle the inner fire of the core and restore lightness\, circulation and joy.\n\nFRIDAY 2-5 PM – Fluid Hips\, Sacral Waters \nIn the chakra system\, the sacrum and hips are associated with the element of water. Over time\, however\, the hip joints can become impacted and dehydrated. Today one in four people suffers from hip osteoarthritis. In this session we replenish the tissues surrounding the hips through pumping\, rocking\, stretching and sliding movements. These practices restore circulation and hydration to the joints\, bringing lightness\, freedom and ease to the sacrum and hips. \nFRIDAY 6-8 PM – Fire in the Belly \nThe belly is the hearth of vitality in the body. Regulating heat and metabolic energy\, the gut is closely linked to the power center of the third chakra. Through breathing into the belly\, twisting\, pumping and expanding the abdomen\, we kindle the inner fire—supporting digestion\, vitality and energetic strength. \nSATURDAY 10 AM – 1 PM – The Body of Delight \nSummer invites circulation\, fluidity and joy. Through spiral movement\, subtle core work and refined awareness\, this session brings lightness to the body. The practice encourages a more fluid relationship with the body’s tissues\, cultivating ease\, suppleness and delight. \nSATURDAY 2-5 PM – Stretch and Strengthen the Inner Leg\nThe inner leg supports the deep life force of the body. Due to fatigue and stress\, this region can become tight\, weak or collapsed. In Chinese Medicine the inner leg corresponds with the kidney\, liver and spleen meridians— pathways associated with vitality and renewal. Through dynamic and restorative movement we strengthen the inner leg\, increase circulation and rejuvenate the entire body. \nAs we practice near the ocean\, the rhythms of tide and breath remind us that the body is not fixed but fluid. Through attentive movement and subtle awareness\, we rediscover the natural currents that support vitality\, resilience and ease. \n\nThis event is hosted by Orleans Yoga.\n\nWhen: July 17 – 18\nLocation: The Church of the Holy Spirit | 204 Monument Rd\, Orleans\, MA 02653\n  \nCost: \n$65 2-hr Single Session\n$75 3-hr Single Session\n$270 Full Immersion (all 4 sessions)\n\n\n**Fluid Body\, Radiant Core is good for 11-Hours of Continuing Education hours through Yoga Alliance\, and can be applied towards required hours for the Prajna Yoga 300-Hour Program.

SUMMARY:SATYA 1 | Opening the Fascia | In-person 5-Day Immersion
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER AT ORLEANS YOGA HERE\n\nSensory Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement \nHosted by Orleans Yoga\n  \nCourse Description\nIn a totally unique way\, the SATYA practice opens doorways into the interior\, providing new pathways of perception and feeling. It guides students away from “doing” movement and toward sensing\, receiving and “being” movement. As an adjunct to yoga practice\, somatic awareness leads to embodied wisdom. \nSATYA is Prajna Yoga’s “yin” style practice. All the movements are done on the floor in a flowing fashion\, without force. The SATYA movements cultivate inner listening and heighten proprioceptive awareness. This awareness is the body’s innate intelligence. By increasing our capacity for sensory awareness\, we become more sentient\, wakeful beings in the world. The exercises are non-weight bearing and involve sliding\, gliding and circular movements to reduce myo-fascial holding in the body. \nThe SATYA training\, along with yoga postures\, involves neural-muscular re-education. Like in vinyasa training\, breath is combined with movement in order to deepen the respiratory rhythm. All movements support profound physical rest of the body and prepare for savasana and yoga nidra (the yogic sleep). \n\nCourse of Study\n\ncultivate essential sensory-motor awareness\nmobilize the joints and build bi-lateral symmetry in the body\naddress low back pain\ndesign fundamental sequences that include both SATYA and asana\ndiscover the importance of spirals and counter spirals\n“it’s all about the joints”: working with tendons\, ligaments\, and joint spaces\nbeing in the “Pause”: the importance of not-doing\nusing gravity to help center inward\nre-educating the neural-muscular system and brain pathways\nlearn how to “ride the edge” through small movements\nlearn the healing potential of the movements and their effects on the myofascial system\nreduce fatigue and exhaustion\nreduce the effects of speed trapped in the body\nsense and feel the connection of the iliopsoas muscle to your spine\ndiscover how to use the SATYA movements to stretch the myofascial sheaths\ninvestigate the most current myofascial and brain information based on current research\n\n  \n*SATYA I is the first course of a 3-part 150-Hour SATYA Certification Program \n*SATYA 1 is a prerequisite for SATYA 2 and SATYA 3 \n*SATYA 1 is run in collaboration with Orleans Yoga \n\nWhen: September 22 – 26\, 2026\nHours: Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 am – 5 pm (1 hr lunch)\nLocation: The Church of the Holy Spirit | 204 Monument Rd\, Orleans\, MA 02653\n  \nCost: \n$1\,090 before September 1st\n$1\,240 after September 1st\n\n**Registration includes one year of access to the course materials \n**Registration for the in-person immersion includes daily vegan\, organic\, gluten-free lunches and tea \n**SATYA 1 is good for 45-Hours of Continuing Education hours through Yoga Alliance\, and can be applied towards required hours for the Prajna Yoga Therapy Track and our 300/500-Hour Teacher Training Program
