SUMMARY:Advanced SATYA: Turning and Churning the Internal Organs | Online Immersion
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nSATYA and Abdominal Kriyas\nMany of the age old yogic practices are devoted to maintaining the health and vitality of the abdominal organs. One of the techniques to optimize visceral motion is called nauli. In this movement (kriya)\, the abdomen is “swooshed” side to side and up and down. \nIn SATYA\, the unwinding movements\, side body releases\, and spinal undulations are ideal preparations for abdominal kriyas or “turnings”. Working like an abdominal massage\, nauli stimulates assimilation and facilitates absorption in the digestive system. In this training\, we practice churning\, massaging\, and stretching movements for the abdomen in order to increase digestive fire and boost overall levels of energy in the body. \n**Pre-requisite: Completion of SATYA 3** \n\nWHEN: October 25\, 26\, and 28 | 9:30 – 11:30am Mountain Time \nCOST: $110 + tax \n  \n\n**Please note ALL Live Zoom sessions will be recorded should you be unable to attend any live streams. All live session recordings are available for 90 days after the last day of the live immersion. \n\n**Have your props handy! We recommend two blocks\, blankets\, a thick bolster\, an 8’ or 10’ belt/strap\, and a backless chair (modifications will be given if you do not have a chair). We recommend yogaoutlet.com and Manduka for props; backless chairs can be found on Amazon and Etsy.

SUMMARY:The Dhatus in Yoga: Semen/Ovum | Online Practice
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nThe Magnificent Seven: The Dhatus in Yoga \nIn Yoga and Ayurveda\, the body is made from seven primary tissues called dhatus. The term dhatu means to hold or support and the seven—plasma\, blood\, muscle\, fat\, bone\, nerve\, and reproductive fluid—are the building blocks for the entire body. In this course we discover how all yoga practices from meditation to asana\, and from diet to pranayama serve to enhance the function of these essential seven tissues. \nYogic Nutrition and Somatic Healing\nWe begin by exploring the ground substance of rasa\, the progenitor of all 7 tissues. We include a day on nutritional and dietary health for building the blood. We use select yoga practices and somatic movements to generate optimal health in the muscle\, fat\, bone\, and nervous system. Lastly\, we will see how the reproductive system is not limited to procreation\, but in yoga is the most vital tissue in the body to support radiant health and immunity (ojas). \nAyurveda Dosha\nIn this course we take time to review your dosha (physical body type) in order to determine what kind of diet and movement practice is ideal for you. Learn how by boosting your individual dhatu\, you can generate more vitality in your overall constitution. \n\nDay 7: Semen/Ovum | Friday\, September 29\nThe final tissue\, the reproductive tissue is thought to be the most refined of all the tissues and Hatha Yoga is designed to safeguard the vitality of this dhatu. The reproductive tissue is closely paired to immunity\, physical vitality\, and longevity. We study male and female reproductive health and practice hip\, inner groin\, and lower abdominal releases. \n\nCOST: $56 + tax for individual days  \nWHEN: September 29 | 7:00 – 9:30am MT**  (Please note the different start time!) \n  \n\n**Please note that Day 7 runs from 7:00 – 9:30am instead of normal hours. \n**This online immersion offers 2.5-Hours of Continuing Education hours\, and can be applied towards the required hours for the Prajna Yoga 300/500-Hour Teacher Training. \n**Please note ALL Live Zoom sessions will be recorded should you be unable to attend the live stream. All live session recordings are available for 90 days after the last day of the live immersion. \n\n**Have your props handy! SUMMARY:The Dhatus in Yoga: Fat | Online Practice
DESCRIPTION:The Magnificent Seven: The Dhatus in Yoga \nIn Yoga and Ayurveda\, the body is made from seven primary tissues called dhatus. \n\nDay 4: Fat | Saturday\, September 16\nWhile we tend to think of fat as negative\, fat plays a crucial role in energy storage\, lubrication\, protection\, and sensory awareness. We explore the role of diet and metabolism on the honey-combed lipid cells. Practices include side bends\, twists\, and back arches. \n\nCOST: $56 + tax for individual days \nWHEN: September 16 | 9:00 – 11:30am MT \n  \n\n**This online immersion offers 2.5-Hours of Continuing Education hours\, and can be applied towards the required hours for the Prajna Yoga 300/500-Hour Teacher Training. \n**Please note ALL Live Zoom sessions will be recorded should you be unable to attend the live stream. All live session recordings are available for 90 days after the last day of the live immersion. \n\n**Have your props handy! SUMMARY:Anatomy of the Deep Belly | 2-Part Online Class
DESCRIPTION:US STUDENTS – REGISTER HERE\nUK STUDENTS – REGISTER HERE\n\nFinding Balance Through the Empowerment of the Lower Abdomen\nThe lower abdomen is the primary center for balance and support in the body. It is also a place of receptivity\, prana\, and inner feeling. In all the internal arts\, the lower belly is the seat of vitality and the source of the body’s internal breath. In this practice\, we tap into the vital reservoir of blood and chi in the lower abdomen by studying the complex relationships between the iliopsoas muscle\, the uterus\, bladder\, and colon. \nYoga Bandha with Somatic Movement and Yin PRACTICE\nEach daily practice will include somatic practices\, yoga\, and pranayama. We devote time and attention to exploring the all important connection to the lift of uddiyana bandha in the lower abdomen. While many practices emphasize a tightening of this area\, we do poses to stretch\, expand\, and elevate the deep belly without force or strain. You will discover that by properly engaging your lower belly\, you can recharge the bioelectric field of your entire body. \nWhen: August 23 & 24 – 9:30am to 12pm MT \nCost: $108 + tax \n\n**Please note ALL Live Zoom sessions and classes will be recorded should you be unable to attend any live streams. \n*Registration includes 90 days access to the recordings and course materials. \n*This course counts as 5 hours of Continuing Education credit through Yoga Alliance.
