SUMMARY:Yoga and Sacred Geometry | September 6-Class Online Series
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER ONLINE\n\n\nWorking with geometric designs is one of the oldest yoga practices. Sacred designs (yantra) describe the movement of energy\, direct the psyche and center the body. This month we integrate sacred geometry into each class to ground the body and support spacious awareness. \n\nWant to register for individual classes? Click here. \n*This month\, all classes are held from 9:00 – 10:30am Mountain Time* \n\nThe Square\nFriday\, September 4th\n\nThe square is the most stable and rooted geometric shape. It is linked to the earth element and provides the foundation for the entire body. In this class\, discover ways that the square provides stability in the feet\, knees\, hands\, and pelvis. \n\nThe Circle\nTuesday\, September 8th\nThe circle (mandala) is the fluid shape that provides a container for the energies of the body. Like a pot or vessel\, the circle holds the life force. It is related to the water element and in this class we explore circular movement to bring both fluidity and containment to the body. \nThe Triangle\nFriday\, September 11th\nThe triangle is the defining shape for the direction of upward and downward moving energy. The downward triangle connects to the tailbone\, the earth\, and the apana (the breath in the lower belly)\, while the upward triangle points to the center of the skull\, the experience of space and prana. In this class we explore the overlay of both upward and descending triangles as in the classic Sri Yantra design. \nThe Petals\nTuesday\, September 15th\n\nMany mandalas feature lotus petals to express the expansion of inner energy. In this class we work with lotus petals along the chakras and in the feet and hands. \n\nThe Spiral\nFriday\, September 18th\nIn nature\, the spiral is the form that enables movement and life. It manifests as rivers\, trees\, blood vessels and DNA. In this class we will discover many spirals in the body\, moving through legs\, spine and skull. \nThe Dot\nTuesday\, September 29th\n\nThe dot or point is the most simple yet powerful design. Typically placed on the Third Eye\, it represents singular focus along with spacious awareness. In this class we discover ways to locate the dot (bindu) on the forehead\, back skull\, hands\, feet and heart. \n\n\nCost: $100 + tax\n\n\nHave your props handy! We recommend two blocks\, blankets\, a thick bolster\, an 8’ or 10’ belt/strap\, and a backless chair (modifications will be given if you do not have a chair). We recommend yogaoutlet.com and Manduka for props; backless chairs can be found on Amazon and Etsy.\nPlease note that all classes are in Mountain Time.\nCan’t join us at 9am MT because of your schedule or time zone? We’ve got you covered! Reserve your seat and all video recordings will be uploaded to your course curriculum to watch when you can\, available to stream for 30 days after the last day of class.

SUMMARY:Yoga Nidra: A Somatic Approach to Deep Rest | Online Training
DESCRIPTION:US STUDENTS – REGISTER HERE\nUK STUDENTS – REGISTER HERE\n\nA Somatic Approach to Deep Rest \nIn today’s fast-paced world\, deep rest has become one of our greatest medicines. While sleep restores the body naturally\, Yoga Nidra offers a conscious pathway into profound restoration\, quieting the nervous system while awakening deeper levels of awareness. \nAt Prajna\, Yoga Nidra begins long before the body becomes still. \nThrough gentle somatic movement\, we prepare the body for profound rest. As the tissues soften and the nervous system quiets\, attention is gently guided away from the surface and into the depths of perceiving. Awareness moves from the skin to the fascia\, from the periphery toward the core\, until resting within the spacious stillness of the brain and spinal cord. \nYoga Nidra is not an escape from the body\, but an intimate journey through it. \nRather than simply relaxing\, Yoga Nidra becomes an exploration of embodied consciousness. Guided with precision and care\, students enter the liminal space between wakefulness and sleep\, where deep restoration\, clarity\, and inner listening naturally arise. \nThis six-session online training is designed for yoga teachers\, movement educators\, therapists\, healthcare professionals\, and dedicated practitioners who wish to deepen their own experience of Yoga Nidra while learning to confidently guide others. \n\nDuring this training participants will: \n\nLearn key somatic movements that prepare the body for Yoga Nidra.\nDiscover how releasing the joints\, fascia\, bones\, and connective tissues supports profound rest.\nLearn to guide awareness from the body’s surface toward its deeper layers of perception.\nDevelop precise language for softening the skin\, peripheral nerves\, and sensory system.\nExplore the release of the face\, jaw\, eyes\, inner ears\, cranial sutures\, and membranes surrounding the brain.\nLearn to guide students into the liminal state between wakefulness and sleep.\nCultivate the confidence to create and lead complete Yoga Nidra experiences.\n\n\nSix Live 2-Hour Online Sessions | 9:30 – 11:30am Mountain Time \nNovember 11-12\n November 18-19\nDecember 2-3\, 2026 \n \nCost: $325 + tax \n\n**Please note ALL Live Zoom sessions will be recorded and you will have unlimited access to the recordings for 3 months \n**A beautifully designed digital manual \n**Guided home practices between sessions \n**Certificate of Completion (12 Continuing Education hours\, if applicable) and can be applied towards the required hours for the Prajna Yoga 300/500-Hour Program. \n**Opportunity for questions and discussion during each session

SUMMARY:SATYA 1 | Opening the Fascia | In-Person & Livestream Online Immersion
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE: IN-PERSON\nREGISTER HERE: LIVESTREAM \nUK STUDENTS REGISTER HERE\n\nSensory Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement\nCourse Description\nIn a totally unique way\, the SATYA practice opens doorways into the interior\, providing new pathways of perception and feeling. It guides students away from “doing” movement and toward sensing\, receiving and “being” movement. As an adjunct to yoga practice\, somatic awareness leads to embodied wisdom. \nSATYA is Prajna Yoga’s “yin” style practice. All the movements are done on the floor in a flowing fashion\, without force. The SATYA movements cultivate inner listening and heighten proprioceptive awareness. This awareness is the body’s innate intelligence. By increasing our capacity for sensory awareness\, we become more sentient\, wakeful beings in the world. The exercises are non-weight bearing and involve sliding\, gliding and circular movements to reduce myo-fascial holding in the body. \nThe SATYA training\, along with yoga postures\, involves neural-muscular re-education. Like in vinyasa training\, breath is combined with movement in order to deepen the respiratory rhythm. All movements support profound physical rest of the body and prepare for savasana and yoga nidra (the yogic sleep). \nOur SATYA 1 immersion is perfect for first-time students or returning practitioners looking to reconnect with the subtle body. Experience SATYA 1 from anywhere with our livestream online option. Join Tias & Surya in real time via Zoom\, or watch on your own schedule with one-year access to all recordings.
