Yoga Nidra guides us to the liminal space between waking and sleep. This practice is deeply nourishing, revitalizing the central nervous system, the organs and glands. At the same time, the space between waking and sleeping is a fertile place for connecting to the dream body where images, insights, visions and feelings emerge.
In this series of classes we begin by unwinding strain and tension from the fascia followed by guided instruction on entering the dream-like state of yoga nidra. Akin to lucid dreaming, students are invited to observe the images, thoughts, and memories that arise. Following each session, students are encouraged to journal their reflections and to sit further with any content that may surface during the practice. Throughout the course course, students are encouraged to keep a dream journal and to connect with the dreams in order to heal their subtle body.
