August in New Mexico is a most beautiful and auspicious time of year as storm clouds gather over the summer skies. When rains bless the desert there is a magical, enchanting quality to the atmosphere.
In this immersion we explore the internal fluids that are the lifeblood of the cells and tissues. Through somatic movement practices, yoga and meditation we will tap into the fluids that have their own intelligence and consciousness. We trace the pathway of blood beginning in the large arteries and veins down to the feather fine diffusion of fluids through the capillaries. In the yoga system we explore the pathway of prana through the nadis and in the Taoist teachings, the way water is the quintessential expression of the life essence. All practices support optimal vitality, meditative stillness and the deep calm.
